What types of furniture do you repair?
We repair a wide range of furniture including sofas, beds, tables, chairs, and more. Contact us for specific inquiries. If you have furniture made from a hardwood like oak, birch, cherry, or pine even mahogany and in most cases with a wood venire, are all worth fixing.
How long does a typical repair take?
Repair times vary depending on the complexity of the job, but most are completed within a week.
Do you use chemical agents to strip paint or varnish?
We never use chemicals that are toxic to humans, the environment, or anything that damages the wood. Instead, we use a 5-step process of sanding to remove the old finish and preparing the wood surface for new stain and varnish.
Do you offer estimates for repair work?
Yes, we provide free estimates. Please send us images of the items needing repair for a detailed quote.
What areas of do you cover?
If you can bring it to the shop, we’ll repair it. For a pickup and in home repairs we cover Middlesex County and southern New Hampshire
What payment types do you accept?
Cash, checks and Venmo are accepted for payment. We do not accept credit cards at this time.
Do you reupholster furniture or repair leather?
We do not upholster or repair leather. We do re-cane seats and repair structual damage to upholstered furniture.
